Week 9 concluded the regular season in the triangle. While we spent a lot of time looking at playoff predictions we were also looking at games for the BoatHouse top 10. Two first time entrants this week in Millbrook and Cedar Ridge. Playoff results will shake up next week's poll for sure.

  1. Middle Creek (17-0) (1)
    Middle Creek finished the regular season undefeated and head into the playoffs as the overall #1 seed in the East.
    This Week: 4A Playoffs 2nd Round against Laney or Holly Springs
  2. Cardinal Gibbons (12-4) (2)
    The Crusaders were off in the last week of the regular season.
    This Week: Gibbons will play Panther Creek or Millbrook in the 2nd round of the 4A playoffs
  3. Broughton (16-0) (3)
    The Capitals finished the regular season unscathed and claiming the Cap 8 title
    This Week: Broughton will play the winner of Jack Britt and JH Rose in teh second round of the 4A playoffs
  4. Apex (13-4) (4)
    Cougars ended the year with a tough loss to #1 Middle Creek.
    This Week: Apex will play Wakefield in the second round of the 4A playoffs.
  5. Leesville Road (14-2) (5)
    The Pride wrapped up the season second place in the cap 8 with both losses coming to #3 Broughton.
    This Week: Leesville will take on Heritage in the second round of the 4A playoffs
  6. Green Hope (13-4) (6)
    The Falcons went 2-1 in the last week of the season.
    This Week: Green Hope travels to New Hanover for the second round of the 4A playoffs
  7. Jordan (13-4) (7)
    The Falcons were off in week 9.
    This Week: A rematch away at New Bern in the second round of the 4A playoffs.
  8. Ravenscroft (8-5) (9)
    Ravenscroft won their rematch against Durham Acadamey in convincing fashion 21-7.
    This Week: NRCA, Cary Academy
  9. Millbrook (11-6) (NR)
    Millbrook went 2-0 in week 9 including a revenge win against Wakefield.
    This Week: Panther Creek in the first round of the 4A playoffs
  10. Cedar Ridge (9-4) (NR)
    The Red Wolves won Conference 6 with a win over Chapel Hill in week 9
    This Week: Have a bye in round 1 of the 1/2/3A Playoffs
