2018: Week 3 Top-10

Week 3 of the 2018 season is done. Just like the preceding weeks, we have top-10 shake ups. Everyone is scrapping and fighting to make their mark in the 2018 Season. Here is how the top ten looks after three weeks of play:

10. Millbrook (3-1) [7]

Millbrook suffered their first loss at the hands of Cardinal Gibbons in week 3 16-2. However they were able to bounce back and win against Sanderson (16-10). Week 4 brings a triple header for the Wildcats as the host Panther Creek before traveling to Cary and Broughton.

9. Athens Drive (5-0) [9]

The Jags were pummled by the rain in week 3 and did not play. This week they face a tough schedule in Jordan, Heritage, and Green Hope.

8. Ravenscroft (2-3) [NR]

The Ravens bounced back after a tough start to the season winning both of games last week against Greensborro Day and Charlotte Latin. Ravenscroft will look to continue their upward trend against Chapel Hill and Providence Day.

7. Broughton Capitals (3-3) [10]

The Caps split the week again in week 3. Broughton beat East Chapel Hill on the road (20-9) before losing at home to Cardinal Gibbons (18-7). Their game against Leesville was rained out. This week the Capitals will be tested again against Sanderson, St. Albans (DC), and Millbrook

6. Apex Cougars (2-2) [3]

Apex was on the losing side of the week's biggest upset falling to Holly Springs in a tight (7-5). This week the Cougars travel to Jack Britt before hosting defending state champ Middle Creek.

5. Durham Academy Cavaliers (2-1) [5]

DA was off in week 3. This week they face Georgetown Prep (MD) on Saturday.

4. Holly Springs Golden Hawks (3-1) [8]

The Golden Hawks went 2-1 in conference play for week 3 including upsetting then #3 Apex. Week 4 brings another triple-header for Holly Springs as they face Garner, Panther Creek, and Fuquay-Varina.

3. Green Hope Falcons (5-0) [4]

Green Hope took away two Tri-6 victories in week 3. The Falcons will face Pinecrest, Carborro, and Athens Drive this week. Friday's winner could be for sole posseion of first place in the Tri-6.

2. Cardinal Gibbons (4-1) [2]

The Crusaders walked through their conference games against Broughton and Millbrook winning by a combined (34-9). Week 4 brings three games for Cardinal Gibbons SE Raleigh, St. Albans (DC), and Enloe.

1. Middle Creek Mustangs (6-0) [1]

The streak is now at 28 games. The Mustangs will try and take down the town of Apex as they take on both the Cougars and Patriots.
