Teams were back in action at full force in week 7, with many teams having 3 games. A little bit of a shake up but not too many changes in the Triangle Lax top 10.:
10. East Chapel Hill (10-1) [NR]
The Wildcats have rattled of 7 straight wins since their loss to #9 Broughton. Week 8 will have East squaring off against Cedar Ridge and Northern Durham.
9. Broughton Capitals (6-3) [9]
The Caps took care of business after spring break. But they will face a tough week with back to back games against Leesville and a rematch against #2 Cardinal Gibbons. This week has massive implications in Cap-7 standings.
8. Athens Drive (11-1) [7]
The Blue Crew took care of a couple conference foes in week 7. They slide back because of a big week by #7 Apex. But they will get their chance to prove themselves as the faceoff against the Cougars on Thursday night.
7. Apex Cougars (7-4) [8]
Apex went 3-0 in week 7, including upsetting previously undefeated #3 Green Hope. The Cougars will have three again this week including a rematch against Holly Springs (5-7 L), Jack Britt, and former SWAC opponent #8 Athens Drive.
6. Holly Springs Golden Hawks (9-2) [5]
The Golden Hawks handled Jack Britt in week 7. Week 8 will have the Hawks looking to sweep both Apex and Garner.
5. Wakefield (9-1) [6]
The Wolverines went 3-0 in week 7 with two 1-goal wins over Jordan and Leesville, as well as a win over Rolesville. Wakefield rematches against Heritage (10-9 W) and Corinth Holders (17-4 W) looking to lock in the #1 spot in the NAC.
4. Durham Academy Cavaliers (7-3) [4]
Durham Academy continues to win in teh NCISAA defeating NRCA and Cary Academy. DA will play Chapel Hill and St. David's this week.
3. Green Hope Falcons (10-1) [3]
Green Hope suffered its first loss of the season at Apex on Wednesday night. They will look to continue to bounce back as they square off against #1 Middle Creek, Jordan, and Panther Creek.
2. Cardinal Gibbons (10-2) [2]
Gibbons won big against conference opponent Sanderson in week 7. Week 8 holds two more Cap-7 games against Millbrook and #9 Broughton.
1. Middle Creek Mustangs (14-0) [1]
The Mustangs swept a set of conference opponents in week 7. Week 8 has a big match up against #3 Green Hope and conference foe Apex Friendship.
