Conference 3 (SWAC)
Year after year this conference has been the most competitive in the area, maybe in the state. Winning the regular season title in this conference means you are battle tested and ready for a playoff run. Though that's probably true of the next four teams as well. There has been a lot of turnover in this league, both in players and coaching. Expect some different results than the last few years.

Conference 4 (Cap8/GNRC)
This league is traditionally top-heavy but a lot of turnover may bring the bottom and middle of the pack together. A few changes in coach staff could also result in some interesting results.

- Wakefield
- Millbrook
- Leesville Road
- Heritage
- Enlone
- Sanderson
- Wake Forest
- Rolesville
Conference 5 (Pac6 and friends)
This is one of the fastest growing conferences in the area. High level coaches and players buying in is leading to more and more competitive conference match-ups. A single round-robin leaves all teams with a wide open schedule with which to build their resume for a playoff run.
- Cardinal Gibbons
- Jordan
- East Chapel Hill
- Riverside
- Northern
- Pinecrest
- Jack Britt
Conference 6 (Big Eight and friends)
The only small-school conference in the Triangle. The competition is pretty high in this group and the top three could probably be shuffled around in any order. Some new faces in this conference as the sport continues to grow.

- Cedar Ridge
- Chapel Hill
- Orange
- Northwood
- JF Webb
- Roxboro Community School
- Voyager Academy
- Southern Durham
TISAC/Epic
As always, the private schools will be competitive amongst one another. It will be interesting to see how some of the new programs, with a few years under their belts, start to establish themselves among the more storied programs.
