Conference 8 is the smallest conference we cover on Triangle Lax. Just two teams in the triangle make up a three team conference that competes in the small school division.
Team Previews
Carrboro
Carrboro earned a playoff position last year by being the champion of conference 8. They finished 4-0 in conference and 9-8 over all before a quarter finals exit in the playoffs. The Jaguars. The Jaguars will have a new coach and be looking for new players to step up.
Voyager Academy
The Vikings are looking to continue to build their program in 2019. Reese Jones returns as the team’s leading scorer. Brysen Hendricks will look to play a larger role for VA in 2019 as well. Tanner Reo (A) and Carson Holland (D) will be expected to step up this season, both are sophomores who saw significant playing time last season, Tejhan Silver will be returning for his senior year as an LSM after sitting out the entire last season with a torn ACL.
