The 2019 Tri-6 is going to make an argument for most competitive conference in 2019. Four teams will be vying to take Green Hope's 2018 crown.
Team Overview
Athens Drive
The Jaguars are going to missing some important pieces from 2018's 12-6 team. While lead scorer Reid Koonce (61G, 20A. Mercer) returns, he will be without right-hand-man Alex Waller (38G, 18A). Attackman Daniel Kuhner (21G, 16A) and midfielder Aaron Morgan (30G, 5A, 67GB, Mt. Olive) will look to support Koonce. Athens Drive will also be without do-it-all midfielder Chris Alcorn (8g, 15A, 59GB, Pfieffer), defensive leader Jesus Galindo (62GB, 1A), and faceoff specialist Dillon Rigg (97GB, 69%). Bradley Gelsinger (50GB, Mt. Olive) and Jack Gelsinger (54svs, 54%,) will have to step up and stop opposing teams' offense. Their brother, Robbie (60.8%) will take over for Rigg.
Green Hope
Green Hope's Ian Delgado (46G, 36A) will have to step up big time for his senior season. With the loss of Aiden Callahan (71G, 37A) and Jack Larkin (64G, 36A), Delgado is going to draw everyone's number one defender. Junior Pierson White and sophomore Brooks Almond will also be asked to expand their roles. Junior Ryan Cammarata (10G, 8A, 58GB) is a terror between the lines and will have to continue to do so in 2019. Senior Patrick Dunn (41GB, 13CT) returns on close for the Falcons. Senior Ian Goodall will take over in net.
Jordan
Jordan looks to hit its stride in 2019 after going 10-8 a year ago. Gone are Jared Halverson (34G, 29A, Goucher) and Connor Macdougall (2G, 3A, 63GB, 42CT). The majority of the Falcon team returns including seniors Yassir Stroud (43G, 29A, Catawba), Jack (51pts) and Mason (31pts) Perry (Mary Washington). The Falcons also have a trio of sophomores in Jordan Dash (45pts), Noah Wilson (49pts) and Sam Ferrel (Missed 2018 with ACL) who will be asked to make significant offensive impact. Seniors Rober Eigenrauch (137svs, Washington College) and Ben Feiler will look to anchor a young defense.
Cary
The Imps return leading scorer Thatcher Fetting (24G, 1A) who accounted for 46% of Cary's scoring in 2018. Cary will look to their defense Kris Fails, Houston Bumgarner, and Jacob Lipschitz to move up in 2019
Riverside
The Pirates were 1-15 in 2018. They have graduated twelve seniors from that team. They will be looking to rebuild with a youthful group in 2019.
Panther Creek
Panther Creek finished 7-8 in 2018 and 6-6 in league play. In 2019 they will be under new coach Dan Nolan. The Catamounts return their top three scorers in Christian Alvarez (31G, 12A), Gabe Alvarez (19G, 23A, 85GB, 54%FO) and sophomore Ryan Stines (30G, 6A). Junior Zach Lombardi will most likely take over in goal for Panther Creek. Seniors Christian Alvarez (30GB, 16CT) and Junior Alex McKinley (29GB, 15CT) will lead the defense in front of Jung.
