It has been a crazy start to the season. Several top-ten match-ups, blowouts, upsets, the King of Spring Tournament, and a crazy amount of canceled and/or rescheduled games on the girl\'s side (we aren\'t going to comment on that in this post).
At the end of it all we saw some great lacrosse to start the season!
Week 1 Highlights:
- Green Level boys and girls got their program\'s initial wins against Riverside in an awesome double header. The girl\'s team also pushed Friendship as hard as they could in the program\'s first ever game.
- East Chapel Hill boys bested Jordan in the Battle for I-40 trophy game
- Jordan girls beat Chapel Hill for the first time in school history
- Apex girls showed the absences of Ellie Bromley and a new coach weren\'t going to stop them from continuing their SWAC dominance
- Brigid Cardillo became Middle Creek\'s all-time leader in points with a 13 point effort against Apex
- Holly Springs boys bested Baltimore MIAA foe John Carroll
- Middle Creek boys came back to win against GA power Lambert 7-5
