Another two weeks and a handful of games it feels. Mother nature has seen fit to, quite literally, rain on our 2021 parade! But there have been some games played, a little bit of drama, and a lot of perseverence by the young people playing lacrosse in the triangle.
Kudos to all the coaches doing any and everything to get as many games as possible in. The flexibilty and efforts to keep the season going don't go unnoticed.
This update will also be the first of the season (for the boys at least) which will incorporate the laxnumbers.com rankings as a "voting" member of the TriangleLax.com top 10. We are still waiting on some cross conference play before the Lax Numbers algorithm kicks in for the girls. In the mean time, here's update #2.
Boys
The addition of the Lax Numbers rankings (# in LN top 10) really shook up the top 10 for the boys this week! It will be interesting to see how some upcoming (some happened Monday night before we could post) games are going to really shake things up!

Girls
The landscape of the girl's top 10 is starting to level out. Holly Springs continues to hold court in the SWAC, East and Gibbons have both remained undefeated. Some shuffling in the bottom half as eyes start to turn toward some up and coming teams and the beginning of the private school season.
