There are only three games left in the 2017 Women's lacrosse season. The first of them is going to be a highly intesnse match up between defending state champions Cardinal Gibbons and Cap 8 Champions Broughton High School.
This game has a lot of history as Gibbons' Coach Alexander started her NC coaching career with the Capitals and helped to grow the program into a local contender. Broughton's Coach Jenn Yoder was the JV head coach under Alexander and has taken the reins and continued to push the program forward.
This is the first time Broughton has made the Regional Final round. Cardinal Gibbons has made it this far in every sanctioned NCHSAA tournament.
The game starts at 6pm at Broughton High School.

Jen Yoder :: 3rd Year :: 43-7 (43-7 carrer)
"[This] game is huge for us because not only is it the furthest we've ever gone in playoffs, but it's also against the defending state champs. We know going in we will have to work really hard if we want to win…We are just really excited to be in this position."
