This merger comes on the heels of the announcement that Queen City Stars, based in Charlotte, will also be joining Ultimate to form Ultimate Charlotte. With these changes Ultimate Goal Lacrosse now represents the largest elite women's lacrosse program in the Carolinas offering local, super-regional, and national opportunities for North Carolina's top lacrosse talent to train and compete. Additionally, players from the Carolinas region join Ultimate's nationally renowned teams from New Jersey and Pennsylvania having the chance to represent Ultimate on the Ultimate Elite national rosters.
For the past 16 years Carolina Fever has been among the most prolific girls' lacrosse programs in our state and region. With an exceptional national presence and strong brand, we have sent over 130 Fever alums to play at the next level earning team, conference, and All-American honors. Fever has been synonymous with elite women's lacrosse in our area since 2005 due to our passionate and experienced coaching staff, deep ties within the college coaching community, and unparalleled commitment to player development. This merger not only builds on our past success, but also unites the lacrosse talent across our state by joining our training, competition, and recruiting programs with Queen City Stars under the Ultimate umbrella.
